Here is a "classic" picture showing multiple historical opportunities for long-side profit trading FSLR based on low weekly Float Stochastic:

Notice how almost every low weekly Float Stochastic shown (vertical lines) offered a subsequent chance for either decent or outsized profit.

The sole exception I've highlighted in pink. This was the very unusual period of Oct-Nov 2008. It's not surprising to see that all bets were off for that period! In this case we had a "double float selloff", and off course that can and does occur in various stocks at various times. (Even more severe, if a stock goes to zero, ala Enron, there may be a multi-float selloff all the way down).

The point, IMO, is the dynamics of the "normal" case where price waves bear a relationship to the float as the shares are cycled between strong and weak holders.

Currently, FSLR is at a weekly Float Stochastic low. Will it bounce, or "double down"? If it does double down, that should take it to the area of prior support, setting up a potential triple bottom.
